This month I drove north to a beautiful cottage on a lake to photograph Laura and Danny. I'll be photographing their wedding next summer and they decided that they'd like some engagement shots as well. It was absolutely freezing, but they were great sports and naturals in front of the lens! Thanks for a lovely day!

I had a great experience this August photographing Trystan and Vanessa's wedding in Ottawa. They were a photographer's dream couple: super friendly, easy-going and just all around nice people. I was a little overwhelmed by how lovely their friends and family were on the day of the wedding. It was a pleasure to shoot.
Here's a big selection. I don't normally add this many pictures to blog posts, but, I'm making up for lost time. I'll be adding more to my permanent gallery section soon. I recently photographed a lovely wedding in the heart of downtown Ottawa. Amazing venues, great people and a really fun party! Here are a few extras, but you can check out the official gallery here. Thanks Jess & Joe for a great day!
My very close friend Melody recently got hitched to a great guy named Chris. I got to photograph their wedding and I must say it was a pleasure. Melody, a visual arts grad and professional portrait painter, painstakingly hand-crafted beautiful decorations to commemorate the day.
Double-sided vintage paper pinwheels (that worked in the breeze!), hand-stuffed paper fortune cookies, mason jars with glowing tealights and a rainbow of beautiful vintage table cloths. A dyed-in-the-wool country girl, Melody also grew all her own flowers! Boom! Great taste and amazing talent = Melody. You can find Mel's work at http://www.melodystarkweather.ca/ These photos are just a selection, I'll add more to the wedding gallery soon! Rowan and Jeff were married at a an AMAZING restaurant near Flesherton, Ontario. The Flying Chestnut provided a beautiful setting, delicious food a really lovely atmosphere and they let the wedding party camp in the back yard, complete with a giant bonfire!
The actual ceremony took place just down the road at the Eugenia Falls Conservation Area, near a waterfall. Keeping with the theme, there was a bit of a downpour, but it didn't...ahem...dampen anyone's spirits. Sorry. Lame. I've posted a gallery on my wedding page, but space is always at a premium, so here are a few more of my favourites. |
