I was recently invited to a surprise birthday party, thrown by Tricia Knowles. It was a rag time bash thrown in honour of her partner's 30th birthday. As a guest I wasn't taking loads of shots, but I got a few before the surprise. We were serenaded by Kingston locals, Sheesham and Lotus - pretty awesome! 

My nephew isn't dealing with the heat any better than the rest of us...Some cooling down in the backyard was required. Check out a few more photos here

Rowan and Jeff were married at a an AMAZING restaurant near Flesherton, Ontario. The Flying Chestnut provided a beautiful setting, delicious food a really lovely atmosphere and they let the wedding party camp in the back yard, complete with a giant bonfire!

The actual ceremony took place just down the road at the Eugenia Falls Conservation Area, near a waterfall. Keeping with the theme, there was a bit of a downpour, but it didn't...ahem...dampen anyone's spirits. Sorry. Lame.
