Almost two years ago, I photographed the wedding of my two friends, Melody and Chris. This morning, I just returned from a visit with them and I took a tonne of photos of their incredibly outgoing and talkative kid, Holly. Also, stylish. Check out that faux fur vest and checked pant combo.

In an effort to continue shooting in quieter times, I've been organizing shoots with friends. Here's one with my friend Alex at Lake Ontario Park. #goldenhour #beautifullady!
I've got a couple of neat jobs that I'm editing or gearing up to shoot - so I've been busy. But not too busy for more walks in the woods. Clearly it's a thing for me right now.
His name is Sam and we're really excited! He's two months old and already huge. He doesn't really have a lazy eye, as it looks in the picture below, he's just a little unfocused still :)
My very close friend Melody recently got hitched to a great guy named Chris. I got to photograph their wedding and I must say it was a pleasure. Melody, a visual arts grad and professional portrait painter, painstakingly hand-crafted beautiful decorations to commemorate the day.
Double-sided vintage paper pinwheels (that worked in the breeze!), hand-stuffed paper fortune cookies, mason jars with glowing tealights and a rainbow of beautiful vintage table cloths. A dyed-in-the-wool country girl, Melody also grew all her own flowers! Boom! Great taste and amazing talent = Melody. You can find Mel's work at http://www.melodystarkweather.ca/ These photos are just a selection, I'll add more to the wedding gallery soon! |
