For the last few years, I've attended the Fat Goose Craft Fair, held at the end of each November. This year, at their new home at Grant Hall, the Fat Goose Collective once again showcased the best of local crafts, jewelry, art, and clothing. Generally I'm there as a customer, but this year, I was asked to take some pictures (of course I bought stuff, too!). The craft show might be over, but you can check out all the vendors here.

I recently photographed a lovely wedding in the heart of downtown Ottawa. Amazing venues, great people and a really fun party! Here are a few extras, but you can check out the official gallery here. Thanks Jess & Joe for a great day!
My very close friend Melody recently got hitched to a great guy named Chris. I got to photograph their wedding and I must say it was a pleasure. Melody, a visual arts grad and professional portrait painter, painstakingly hand-crafted beautiful decorations to commemorate the day.
Double-sided vintage paper pinwheels (that worked in the breeze!), hand-stuffed paper fortune cookies, mason jars with glowing tealights and a rainbow of beautiful vintage table cloths. A dyed-in-the-wool country girl, Melody also grew all her own flowers! Boom! Great taste and amazing talent = Melody. You can find Mel's work at http://www.melodystarkweather.ca/ These photos are just a selection, I'll add more to the wedding gallery soon! I was recently invited to a surprise birthday party, thrown by Tricia Knowles. It was a rag time bash thrown in honour of her partner's 30th birthday. As a guest I wasn't taking loads of shots, but I got a few before the surprise. We were serenaded by Kingston locals, Sheesham and Lotus - pretty awesome!
Check out my image on the NAPECA website banner: it's the man in green in the top, left-hand corner!
